Day 7 - Provence, Nimes & Avignon

Thursday, June 9th

We packed up and were back on the bus to finish our tour of Provence and head to Nice.

We made our first stop in Nimes to visit the Roman amphitheater there. It was a little mini Colosseum.

We also visited the oldest and largest Roman aqueduct. It was extremely impressive!

Also got to visit the Papal Palace in Avignon.

We arrived in Nice to torrential rains. We had to dash through the winding streets for 20 minutes to get to the restaurant where we were having dinner but it was still very beautiful.
