Day 14 - Homeward Bound
Au revois, Adios, Ciao! Our last night in Rome was organized by Mirne. A very comical Opera dinner. It was the perfect end to our trip. Day 14 and we are saying goodbye to Europe! We had such an incredible time, met so many new people, had so many adventures and now we are ready to make our way back to the good ole' USA. A huge thank you to Madame Neto, The french immersion teacher who organizes this trip every year. She is the most dedicated teacher I have ever met and an amazing woman. I am so glad the children have been given the opportunity for this trip. Without her hard work it would not happen. Also, we had the best tour director, Mirne Lolli (sp). She pushed us beyond our limits and at times I felt like we might be training for the Iron Man and not on vacation,,, but we left this tour having missed nothing and experiencing more than we could have ever expected. Maybe even a few pound lighter... but alas, gelato.
